A live symphonic concert bringing The Legend of Korra to life with a live orchestra and cinematic experience, presented by Seattle Theatre Group.
The Legend of Korra in Concert comes to The 5th Avenue Theatre on Wednesday, January 20, 2027. It's a live symphonic performance of the score by Emmy Award-winning composer Jeremy Zuckerman, with original series editor Jeff Adams pairing the music with HD animated sequences from the show projected on a full-size cinema screen. The whole thing runs about two hours, taking you through all four seasons of the series.
If you're coming from Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert, this is billed as the next chapter. The show marks 15 years of The Legend of Korra and follows Korra, a rebellious girl from the Southern Water Tribe and the Avatar who succeeded Aang, across that two-hour visual journey. The music is performed live by an orchestra, so you're hearing the score in the room rather than through speakers, with the animation running alongside it on the screen.
It's presented by Seattle Theatre Group (STG) at The 5th Avenue Theatre, 1308 5th Ave, which is known for its architectural beauty and grand atmosphere. The venue has orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony seating, so you can pick your spot depending on how close you want to be to the stage. It's reserved seating and open to all ages, which makes it an easy one to bring the kids to if they're into the series.
