Electronic music artist Skream plays an open-to-close set at the Substation venue in Seattle.
Skream plays Substation on Wednesday, November 25, for an open-to-close set. The night is presented by Routine, Itertainment, and Substation.
If you're not familiar with the name, Ollie 'Skream' Jones is one of the UK's most respected electronic artists. He's a Croydon DJ, producer, and original dubstepper who's spent years keeping the legacy of UK rave culture alive. He's toured the world countless times, playing major festivals and clubs, and has shared the booth in back-to-back sessions with everyone from Seth Troxler and Dom Dolla to Mala and his original partner in crime, Benga. His productions have come out on his own IFeel label and Circoloco Records, including 'The Attention Deficit Track' with the late Jackmaster, 'Pound Town' with Partiboi69, and 'Imali Yami' with Mxshi Mo'.
An open-to-close set means he's taking the whole night himself, rather than playing a headlining slot after a few openers. He'll be there from the first beat to the last, which gives him room to build the energy over several hours instead of cramming it into a two-hour window. It's a long-haul night, so come prepared to stay a while.
