The Cornley Drama Society attempts to stage Peter Pan, with escalating comedic disasters, at Seattle Rep.
Peter Pan Goes Wrong opens at the Bagley Wright Theatre on November 27, 2026, as part of the Seattle Rep's 2026-27 season. It's a production from the creators of The Play That Goes Wrong, and it brings back the same troupe—the Cornley Drama Society—whose previous disaster, The Murder at Haversham Manor, left audiences laughing and the backstage crew crying for very different reasons.
This time, the society is taking on Peter Pan. The story is the one you know, but the way it's staged is where the real show is. It's a gloriously escalating catastrophe of missed cues, malfunctioning scenery, and literally high-flying mishaps, all built around the kind of physical comedy that works best when you're in the room. The whole thing is written by Jonathan Sayer, Henry Lewis, and Henry Shields, directed by Dámaso RodrĂguez, and produced in association with Portland Center Stage.

It's billed as a holiday outing for the whole family, and the schedule reflects that. There are student matinees, a Young Rep Night, and an ASL & Audio Described performance, so it's easy to bring the kids or a larger group. The preview performances run from November 27 through December 1, with opening night on December 2. The theater is the Bagley Wright at Seattle Center, 305 Harrison Street, Seattle, WA 98109.
