Concert featuring the US slamming brutal death metal act Peelingflesh, with support from Gridiron, Outta Pocket, Grounds For Assault and Flesh.
Peelingflesh play El Corazón on Wednesday, October 7, with Gridiron, Outta Pocket, Grounds For Assault and Flesh. It's a slamming brutal death metal night, and the bill pulls from a few different corners of the heavy underground.
Peelingflesh is a US slamming brutal death metal act that draws its ranks from Strangled, Aberrant Construct and Loathing Existence. The lineup features Mychal Soto and Jason Parrish on guitar, Joe Pelletier on drums, Austin Hirom on bass and Damonteal Harris on vocals, and they release through Unique Leader Records.
Rounding out the night is Gridiron, a hybrid of metal, hardcore and hip-hop that grew out of pandemic-era Call of Duty sessions. They followed the Loyalty At All Costs (2020), Worldwide Brotherhood (2021) and No Good At Goodbyes (2022) EPs with the Blue Grape Blue debut Poetry From Pain. Outta Pocket is a Bay Area beatdown hardcore and metalcore band formed in 2020, known for raw energy and pit anthems. Grounds For Assault is a California beatdown hardcore and death metal-influenced band formed in 2023, noted for its "murder muzik" style and grimy breakdowns. And Flesh is a Hamburg-based witch house producer who has been putting out dark tunes since 2015.
