Mild Minds plays a DJ set at Substation on Friday, November 13, with support from Flysword. The music starts at 10 PM, so it's a late one that runs well into the night.
Mild Minds is the stage name of Benjamin David, an LA-based Australian electronic producer. He landed on the persona while looking for a way to get back to a child-like state of creation, and he introduced the project with SWIM, which was signed by Foreign Family Collective—ODESZA's imprint—on Ninja Tune and Counter Records. From there, he went on to remix ODESZA and Tycho, and tour with the likes of Tycho, Bob Moses and Big Wild. The 2020 ford. remix of SWIM earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Remixed Recording.
