A comedy by Steve Martin where a meteor shower viewing turns into chaos as reality dissolves, staged at The Falls Theatre.
Meteor Shower, the comedy by Steve Martin, runs from February 6 to February 28, 2027, at The Falls Theatre inside the Union Arts Center at 700 Union Street. It's directed by Adrienne Mackey.
The play starts with a simple setup: Corky and Norm invite another couple over to watch a once-in-a-lifetime meteor shower. From there, it goes sideways. Something about the guests is off, the conversation takes sharp turns, and between the wine and the sky falling, the line between what's real and what isn't dissolves completely. It's a comedy that turns a quiet evening under the stars into total, glorious chaos. Reviewers have called it "Steve Martin at his most inventive: a comedy that goes exactly where you don't expect and never once looks back."
Meteor Shower is part of Union Arts Center's 2026-27 season, which runs from September 19 to October 11, 2026, and pairs it with four other productions: Hamlet, Table 17, Much Ado About Nothing, and The River Bride.
