Soul, folk and rock concert by Lindstrom & The Limit with support from Waltzerr at Nectar Lounge in Fremont.
Lindstrom & The Limit play Nectar Lounge on Friday, October 30, with Waltzerr opening. It's an early show, starting at 5:30 PM, so you'll be out and about well before the night really gets going.
If you haven't kept up with them, the band has changed quite a bit since it started. They formed in 2015 as an acoustic trio led by Aaron Lindstrom, and over the years they've grown into a nine-piece soul-folk-rock powerhouse. That's a lot of people on one stage, and the sound reflects it: they fuse folk, funk, soul, blues, and rock, and they've sold out some of Seattle's most legendary stages along the way.
Here's who makes up that nine-piece lineup: Aaron Lindstrom on vocals, guitar, and percussion; Tyler Stevens on trumpet; Evan Lorbecki on saxophone; Nikki Pope on vocals; Max Stiles on bass; Eric Stevens on drums; Dave Thurston on guitar; and Quinn Christofferson on trombone and vocals. With a full horn section and multiple singers, it's more of a big-band soul revue than a typical rock club set.
