Australian DJ Lenny Pearce performs his family-friendly toddler techno set as part of his Toddler Rave World Tour at the Paramount Theatre.
Lenny Pearce brings his Toddler Rave World Tour to the Paramount Theatre on Saturday, October 24, with the set starting at 12:30 PM. Doors open an hour earlier, at 11:30 AM.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, you've probably heard the music anyway. Pearce is an Australian DJ who calls himself a toddler techno pioneer, and he's built his whole thing around family-friendly dance remixes of classic children's songs. One of his best-known is a techno take on "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes," and he's put out a full album, Disney Jr. Music: Lenny Pearce Toddler Techno, that does the same for the Disney Jr. catalog. He's worked with The Wiggles and other kids' brands along the way, so the whole project is built for the youngest crowd in the room.
This isn't just a DJ set, though. The live show is part of his Toddler Rave World Tour, and it's built around stage production and bright light shows that run alongside the music. The sound falls squarely into the techno genre—four-on-the-floor beats and electronic textures—but the songs are the ones kids already know. It's a rave for toddlers, and the production is designed to match that energy.

It's a midday show, so it's one you can do with the kids before the afternoon gets away from you. The set starts at 12:30 PM at the Paramount Theatre, and doors open at 11:30 AM.
