High-energy DJ set by James HYPE, part of the BOO SEATTLE 2026 festival.
James HYPE plays WAMU Theater on Friday, October 30, as part of BOO SEATTLE 2026. It's a DJ set, and since it's the first night of a two-day festival running October 30 and 31, it's a good way to kick off the weekend.
If you're not familiar with him, HYPE cut his teeth on the club circuits of the North of England. His sets are high-energy, and his production blends urban music with house and garageβa sound that's caught the attention of some big names. He's handled official remix duties for OT Genasis on "Cut It" and Yo Gotti on "Down in the DMs," and his remix of "Hotline Bling" racked up over 2 million plays and went viral on Shazam. He's also had a lot of support from BBC Radio One and has played club shows at Sankeys in Ibiza, BCM in Mallorca, Surrender in Las Vegas, and Proud in London. He took home the iHeartRadio Urban Remix of the Year award and put out an exclusive mix for Mistajam's peak-time show on Radio One.
