Howloween

Howloween is taking over the W Seattle Living Room Bar on Thursday, October 22, from 6 PM to 8 PM. It's a dog-friendly Halloween happy hour and costume contest, described as a "howling good time" for ghosts, ghouls, goblins, and their furry friends. The whole thing is built around the contest, but there's plenty to do while you wait for the judging to start.

The bar will be serving treats, bites, and cocktails, along with puptails for the dogs. There's a Halloween photo station set up so you can snap a picture with your pup, and everyone who attends walks away with a wag bag. The contest itself hands out prizes in three categories: best costume, best human-and-dog pair, and most creative entry. Every attendee gets a treat bag from the sponsor, Woof Gang Bakery, so even if you don't take home a trophy, you're not leaving empty-handed.
