A hands-on, interactive cooking class where attendees learn to make dumpling dough, prepare fillings, and master folding techniques.
CocuSocial is hosting a hands-on dumpling-making class at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Seattle/Northgate on Wednesday, October 7. It's an interactive session where you build your dumplings from the ground up rather than just assembling pre-made parts, so you'll walk away knowing the actual process behind them.
The class starts with the dough—the secret to getting it just right—and then moves into preparing two different fillings during the session, pork and veggie. From there, you'll work through several folding techniques and pick up some insider tips on the different ways to cook them. The whole thing takes place in a casual kitchen with prepared workstations, and it's designed to be approachable for everyone from seasoned cooks to total beginners, so you don't need any prior experience to get into it. There are also vegetarian, nut-free, fish-free, and shellfish-free options available.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Seattle and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
