Halloween Honky Tonk

Country Dave headlines the Nectar Lounge on Wednesday, October 28, as part of the venue's 'Country Singer-Songwriter Night' series. It's billed as a local country music showcase, and the lineup fills out the bill with several other names from the local scene. Along with Dave, the night features Harmonson, Joey Roger, Charles Balter, 3 Bourbon, and Sean + the Hen House Band.

Because it's part of a series, the format is straightforward: a succession of country acts rather than a single headliner with a few openers. You'll get to hear a handful of different songwriters and bands in one go, and since they're all playing the same stage, it's a good way to catch several local acts without having to coordinate multiple nights. The bill is a mix of soloists and full bands, so the sound should shift a bit throughout the evening.

Nectar Lounge is at 412 N 36th St in Seattle, and the night is strictly 21 and over, so keep your ID handy. Doors open at 7 PM, and the show starts at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $15.63.
