Concert featuring Great Falls, Converge and Heiress at El Corazon.
Great Falls are playing El Corazon on Thursday, October 15, with Converge and Heiress joining them on the bill. It's a local night for the headliners, as Great Falls is a noise and metal band from right here in Seattle.
Having them on the bill alongside Converge and Heiress puts the evening in a specific bracket. Converge has been a cornerstone of the hardcore and metal scene for decades, known for a sound that's as much about jagged, dissonant edges as it is about sheer volume. Heiress brings their own weight to the mix, so between the three, the night leans heavily into the louder, heavier side of things. Great Falls fits right into that company, blending noise and metal into something that sits comfortably with the rest of the lineup.
Because Great Falls is a Seattle band, this is one of those shows where you're seeing them on their own turf. They've built their sound around the intersection of noise and metal, and having them share a stage with Converge and Heiress gives you a good sense of the company they keep. It's a bill that stays within the same general neighborhood of sound throughout the night, rather than jumping across genres.
