Metalcore band Gideon performs live at El Corazon as part of the Bodysnatcher: Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home Tour.
Gideon play El Corazon on Saturday, November 28, as part of the 'Bodysnatcher: Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home Tour'. They're not alone on the bill: Bodysnatcher, Psycho-Frame, and Volatile Ways are all on the lineup, so you'll get four bands in one night.
Gideon comes from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and they've built their sound around a wide range of heavy styles. Their set pulls from heavy metal and nΓΌ metalcore, with hardcore, alternative metal, and melodic metalcore mixed in. It's a broad spread for one band, and having them share a stage with three other acts means the night stays in that heavy territory from start to finish.
Behind the name is a four-piece: vocalist Daniel McWhorter up front, with Caleb DeRusha on bass, Tyler Riley on guitar, and Jake Smelley on drums. The Seattle date is one stop on the 'Bodysnatcher: Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home Tour', so they're coming through as part of a larger run.
