A curated handmade market featuring geek-themed crafts and merchandise by local makers at Hangar 30 in Magnuson Park.
GeekCraft Expo returns to Hangar 30 in Magnuson Park on May 7 and 8, 2027. It's a curated market of handmade geek goods, with every table selected by a curator rather than just open to anyone who wants a spot. The focus is on "geeky craft" — the specific thing an artist does better or differently than anyone else — and the organizers are strict about what exhibitors bring to the show.
Comic book writer Daniel Way, known for his work on Deadpool, Wolverine, and The Incredible Hulk, started GeekCraft Expo in 2016. Since then, it's grown into a series of geek-themed handmade markets held throughout the year in cities across the United States, and even as far as Hawai'i. It's created by nerds for nerds, a showcase for makers who spend their time making geeky things.
