Flor de Toloache with Monamor

Flor de Toloache play Nectar Lounge on Wednesday, October 14, with Monamor opening. They're a Latin Grammy winner and two-time Grammy nominee that gives mariachi a modern twist with soaring harmonies and fiery strings.

Founded in 2008 by Mireya Ramos and Shae Fiol, they were New York City's first all-female mariachi ensemble. They worked their way up from subway platforms to international stages, touring from Mexico to Japan and across the United States and Latin America. Their latest bilingual album, Indestructible, pushes the genre's boundaries with reimagined pop covers, originals, and collaborations with artists like John Legend singing in Spanish, Alex Cuba, Cultura Profética, and Miguel. They've also worked with The Black Keys, Alicia Keys, and Mon Laferte, and played Tiny Desk, Coachella, Newport Folk Fest, and Austin City Limits.

The show is presented by Nectar & Solid Sound at Nectar Lounge, Seattle's largest indoor/outdoor music venue since 2004. Tickets are $28, and the night is 21+. The show starts at 7 PM.
