Halloween-themed swing dance ball with Tony Abreu's Devilish Swing, Three for Silver, and Jenea Fiore, plus fire dancers.
Hidden Hall in Fremont is hosting the Devilish Halloween Ball II on Saturday, October 17, a Halloween-themed swing dance ball that runs from 8 PM to 2 AM. The night is built around Tony Abreu's Devilish Swing, the band that gives the event its name and its main feature. They'll be playing live, so the music comes from the stage rather than a playlist, and the whole evening is set up for dancing.
Along with Tony Abreu's band, the lineup includes Three for Silver and Jenea Fiore, two more names that will be part of the music throughout the night. Between the bands, there will be fire dancers performing, which adds a bit of a spectacle to the dance floor. It's a long oneโsix hours from start to finishโso there's plenty of room to dance through several sets without feeling rushed.
If you're not a regular in the Seattle swing scene, it's a good time to jump in. The theme is Halloween, so costumes are definitely on the table, and the fire dancers fit right into that. The music is swing, the venue is in Fremont, and the whole thing is geared toward getting people on their feet.
