A candlelit concert of Christmas classics performed by the Seattle String Quartet at the historic Arctic Club Hotel.
Candlelight: Christmas Classics comes to the Arctic Club Hotel on Sunday, December 20, with two showtimes: 6:15 PM and 8:30 PM. The Seattle String Quartet is the ensemble on the program, and they'll be playing through a set of Christmas classics.
It's part of the Candlelight series presented by Fever, which brings classical and popular music to intimate Seattle venues lit by thousands of LED candles. The idea is to turn the performance into a multi-sensory experience, so the lighting is as much a part of the night as the music. The Arctic Club Hotel is a 400-capacity historic landmark in downtown Seattle—a 1916 Beaux-Arts building known for its terra cotta walls and the Northern Lights Dome Room, where a stained-glass dome frames the stage.
The concert runs about an hour, and doors open 45 minutes before the show. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis within each zone, so if you want a particular spot, you'll want to get there early. There's a minimum age of 8, and anyone under 16 has to be accompanied by an adult.
