Trivia night hosted by Ian with five rounds including a music round, with cash prizes for the top two teams.
Beer Hall Trivia is back at Skål Beer Hall in Ballard this Wednesday, October 7, starting at 7 PM. It's a weekly thing, so if you miss this one, you can just catch it the following Wednesday.
Local host Ian runs the night, which is built around five rounds of trivia. One of those is a music round, and there are cash prizes for the first and second place teams, so it pays to bring a group that can cover a few different subjects. It's the kind of night where you can just show up with a few friends and spend a couple of hours working through the rounds over drinks.
If you haven't been to Skål, it's a Viking-inspired tavern that leans hard into the mead hall vibe: warm, welcoming, and often raucous, with a central fireplace and a stone bar. The gastropub kitchen serves Scandinavian fare, burgers, and shareable plates that nod to Nordic heritage. Regulars can join the Beerhalla Mug Club, where you pay for a 16oz pour but get a 20oz pour instead. Every two months, the hall hosts a communal Viking Feast paired with a local beer or mead.

Entry is $5 per person, and trivia kicks off at 7 PM. If you're planning to eat, it's worth getting there a bit early to grab a table and some food before the first round starts.
