A fast-paced event where ten industry professionals showcase innovative sustainable building projects in a slam-style format.
The Northwest Green Building Slam returns to the Panoramic Center at the Pacific Tower in Seattle on Saturday, November 7, 2026. It's run by the Northwest Ecobuilding Guild, and the whole thing follows a crowd-favorite slam format: ten speakers, each given ten minutes and ten slides to tell their story. It's fast-paced, it's engaging, and it keeps things moving.
The presenters come from across the green building professions, and they're invited to share advancements from every stage and style of sustainable construction. That means you'll see a mix of projects rather than just one niche—different scales, different methods, and different ways of thinking about how we build. Because it's a slam, the presentations are stripped down to the essentials, so you get ten different looks at sustainable building in a single evening.
Behind the scenes, the Northwest Ecobuilding Guild also puts out a call for volunteers to help plan the Slam and to staff the event on the day, so there's a way to get involved before the doors even open. If you're already in the industry, it's a good chance to see what other people are working on across the region.
