Australian indie rock band Vacations celebrate the release of their fourth studio album 'Pursuit Of Anything', joined by support act TWEN.
Vacations play SOMA on Saturday, March 20, 2027, as part of their North American headline tour. They're out celebrating their fourth studio album, Pursuit Of Anything, and they've brought along TWEN to open the night.
If you haven't crossed paths with them yet, Vacations are an Australian indie rock band from Newcastle, formed back in 2015. They make a woozy kind of guitar pop that blends indie, jangle, and lo-fi—the sort of sound that sits comfortably between a sunny afternoon and a late-night drive. A couple of their songs have traveled quite a way from Newcastle: 'Young' and 'Telephones' have both been certified double platinum and platinum in the US, and the band has passed a billion streams across their catalog.
Pursuit Of Anything is their fourth full-length, and the band describes it as the work of a group of friends who've been making music together since they were barely out of their teenage years. Singer Burns puts the album's core in a single phrase: 'about happiness as a feedback loop—how you keep chasing the next thing.'
