Twisted Trivia returns to Quartyard on Wednesday, October 14, with a Bob's Burgers theme and a costume contest to match. If you've never been, it's not your standard pub quiz. It's a hybrid of trivia, Family Feud, and a chugging competition, and it's been voted San Diego's number one trivia night.
SD Hosted emcees the whole thing. The questions are hand-written and curated alongside the people in the room, so they aren't just pulled from a database. They cover music, movies, TV, pop culture, and sports, with themed editions like this one running twice a month. This particular night is all about Bob's Burgers, and the costume contest means you've got a reason to dress up as your favorite character—or maybe a very specific burger from the menu—before you even walk through the door.
It's an all-ages, dog-friendly night, so you can bring the kids and the dog along. Seating is first come, first served, and El Comal has food and a full bar on hand if you need a drink or a snack to keep you going between rounds. The game starts at 7 PM, with doors opening at 6 PM, so if you want a good spot, getting there early is your best bet.
