NKBA San Diego Kitchen & Bath Tour

The NKBA San Diego Kitchen & Bath Tour returns on Saturday, October 10, with five private residences open across San Diego County. It's a self-guided walk, so you set your own pace and visit the homes in whatever order works for you. The houses are spread across Chula Vista, La Mesa, Kensington, and Scripps Ranch, which gives you a good cross-section of the county to work through over the course of the day.

Inside, you'll see kitchens and bathrooms put together by local designers, remodelers, and industry partners. The tour highlights the kind of details that are hard to appreciate from a photo: custom cabinetry, statement islands, luxury appliances, and innovative fixtures. Chapter president Elizabeth Leahy puts it simply—there's nothing quite like experiencing a beautifully designed kitchen or bath in person. The tour lets you see exceptional design up close, get a feel for different products and materials, and meet the professionals who brought the spaces to life. Designers and industry partners are on hand throughout the day to talk through the design process, the materials they chose, and the challenges they ran into along the way.

It's a fundraiser, too, with 100% of ticket proceeds going toward the association's mission. The tour runs from 10 AM to 4 PM, so you've got a full window to hit all five homes. General admission is $50, and NKBA members get in for $40. If you wait until the day of the tour, tickets go up to $60. Students can get in for $25, and there's a bundle for groups of five for $200.
