Hip-hop concert featuring Bolo with special guests Redtape, Dom Dior and Juju at LED Day Club.
Bolo is playing LED Day Club this Saturday, October 10, from 4 PM to 9 PM. He's a hip-hop artist from Laos, and he's bringing along special guests REDTAPE, DOM DIOR and JUJU to round out the bill.
There's some history to catch up on if you're not already familiar. Bolo was born on July 20, 1984, in Montreuil, in the 93rd department of France, and raised from birth in Sevran, also in the 93, in the RGT neighborhood. He started writing back in 1997-1998, so he's been at this for a long time before he put out his first album, LYR..., in 2008. That puts nearly a decade of writing behind the first record.
On the practical side, the show is 21 and over, and it's rain or shine, so it's happening regardless of the weather. The venue is cashless, which is worth keeping in mind if you're planning on grabbing drinks or food while you're there. It's at 3125 Ocean Front Walk in San Diego.

Tickets are tiered: general admission is $40 plus a $10.45 service fee, coming to $50.45; VIP tables are $50 plus $12.25, for $62.25; and last-chance tickets are $60 plus $14.05, totaling $74.05. The whole thing runs from 4 PM to 9 PM, so it's a late-afternoon start that carries into the evening.
