Stand-up comedy show featuring Lavell Crawford at Mic Drop Comedy.
Lavell Crawford is playing Mic Drop Comedy on Thursday, December 10, with the show starting at 7 PM. If you've seen his name around but aren't sure where he comes from, he first hit the national radar on NBC's Last Comic Standing, which led to a network holding deal and the Comedy Central half-hour special Comedy Central Presents: Lavell Crawford. From there, he filmed the hour-long special Can A Brother Get Some Love? in his hometown of St. Louis, released on DVD by Entertainment One.
Since then, he's spent a lot of time on television. He was a regular panelist on E!'s Chelsea Lately and a regular on Lopez Tonight, and he's appeared on Shaquille O'Neal Presents: All Star Comedy Jam, Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam, Showtime at the Apollo, Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment, Comic's Unleashed with Byron Allen, Steve Harvey's Big Time, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, Motown Live, and BET's Comic View. He's also done acting on the side, with roles in the films Baby's Mama Drama, Beverlyhood, and Ghetto South Problems, and an appearance on The Jamie Foxx Show. He also had a recurring role on AMC's Emmy-winning Breaking Bad and filmed an episode of Comedy Central's Workaholics.
