A night of nonstop music and dancing featuring ZJ Heno, DJ Freddie Max and DJ Electra, blending Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall and Reggae.
ZJ Heno makes his San Diego debut at The Office Cocktail Bar on Sunday, October 11, as part of the JAM SESSION series presented by 2THAMAX ENT. He shares the booth with DJ Freddie Max and DJ Electra, with Messiah hosting the night. The music runs from Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall and Reggae, with R&B, Hip Hop and global sounds mixed in. It's billed as a night of nonstop music and dancing in North Park.
If you're not familiar with the sounds, it's a broad spread. Afrobeats brings the West African influence, Amapiano the deep house from South Africa, and Dancehall and Reggae the Jamaican roots. When you throw in R&B, Hip Hop and global sounds, the set covers a lot of ground. With three DJs and a host on the mic, the music keeps moving through the night rather than sticking to one corner of the room.

It's a long one, too. The party kicks off at 5 PM and runs until 2 AM, so you can drop in early for a drink and stay late, or just show up when the dance floor is in full swing. The Office Cocktail Bar is at 3936 30th St in North Park, and the whole night is strictly for over-21s. Tickets range from free to $108.55, so you've got a few ways to get in.
