Electronic music performance by EsDeeKid from Liverpool, part of the Council House Rat Tour, with special guest Rico Ace.
EsDeeKid plays SOMA on Monday, October 12, as part of the Council House Rat Tour. He's coming from Liverpool, United Kingdom, so this is a long way from home for a Monday night in San Diego. He'll be joined by special guest Rico Ace, who opens the bill.
The tour title, Council House Rat, points to the kind of background EsDeeKid carries with him. In the UK, a council house is public housing, and the phrase carries a specific weight—working-class, suburban, and rooted in a particular kind of British life. It's the kind of detail that tells you where he's coming from before he even hits the stage.

On the practical side, this is an all-ages show, so you can bring whoever you want. It's general admission and standing room only, meaning there are no assigned seats—you'll be on your feet for the night. Craft beer is available at the bar, and the venue has a clear bag policy in effect, so keep that in mind before you head out. Doors open at 7 PM.
