Concert by the Nashville indie rock trio Edgehill on their The Moving Out Tour, with support from Appleseed, at the intimate Soda Bar venue.
Edgehill are bringing their The Moving Out Tour to Soda Bar on Sunday, October 18. They're a Nashville trio fronted by Chris Kelly on lead vocals and guitar, with Jake Zimmermann on lead guitar and vocals and Aidan Cunningham on drums. The night is presented by Soda & Casbah as an Indie Share Event, and they're sharing the bill with Appleseed.
Edgehill describe their sound as leaning into "the cracks, the nicks, the bumps, and the bruises," and that's a good way to get a sense of what they're about. It's the kind of indie rock that doesn't polish away the rough edges, and hearing it in a room like Soda Bar — which they describe as San Diego's hidden gem for live music in Normal Heights, an intimate space where the indie scene shines bright on great tunes, cold drinks and laid-back vibes — should suit that approach just fine.

Doors open at 7 PM and the show starts at 8 PM, so there's plenty of time to get in and settle in before the music kicks off. Tickets are $20. One thing to keep in mind: the night is strictly 21+, so you'll need a valid ID at the door. Soda Bar is at 3615 El Cajon Blvd in Normal Heights.
