Regional Mexican music concert featuring Edgardo Nuñez and Kane Rodriguez, presented by Viva Tu Musica.
Edgardo Nuñez and Kane Rodriguez share a bill at the Civic Theatre on Saturday, October 10, presented by Viva Tu Musica. It's a double bill of Regional Mexican music from two artists who've built their names in different ways over the last few years.
Nuñez is a singer, songwriter, and accordionist working within the newer wave of corridos and ballads. He's got hits like "Billete Grande" and "El Ruddy" behind him, and nearly 13 million monthly listeners on Spotify. His sound blends traditional Mexican roots with urban sensibilities, so if you're into the way current corridos are evolving, he's right in the middle of it.
Rodriguez comes from a musical family in Houston and first made a name for himself through viral TikTok hits. He mixes cumbia, banda, and norteño with a modern touch, and his popularity took off in 2024. In 2025, he released his debut album, La Batuta, so he'll be playing from a full record of his own.

Between the two, you've got Nuñez's accordion-led corridos and Rodriguez's cumbia and banda influence, both leaning into the newer side of the genre. The show starts at 8 PM, and doors open an hour before. The Civic Theatre is a cashless venue, and all ages need their own ticket.
