Dinosaur Jr. performs on their Fall Tour 2026 with special guest Stef Chura at the Belly Up venue.
Dinosaur Jr. play Belly Up in Solana Beach on Sunday, October 11, as part of their Fall Tour 2026. They're touring their latest album, There Near, their sixth studio record in the twenty years since the band came back together. It was pieced together in short bursts over a year at Amherst's Bisquiteen Studio, played almost entirely by the core trio: J Mascis on guitar and vocals, Lou Barlow on bass and vocals, and Murph on drums, with piano and organ by Ken Mauri. Mascis is playing through a 70s Mesa Boogie MK 1 amp, the same one Chris Dixon used when the band recorded their first album.
Opening for them is Detroit singer-songwriter Stef Chura, known for a raw vocal style that blends garage rock, punk energy, and melodic pop. She's been performing since the late 2000s and recently released Messes, which follows 2019's Midnight, produced by Will Toledo of Car Seat Headrest.
