Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour 2026, featuring Haley Reinhart, Jonathan Butler and Dylan Chambers, at the Balboa Theatre.
Dave Koz brings his Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour 2026 to the Balboa Theatre on Thursday, December 17, at 7:30 PM. He isn't playing alone: Haley Reinhart, Jonathan Butler, and Dylan Chambers are all on the bill, so you'll get a full ensemble on stage rather than just a saxophone lead. It's a holiday show, which means the set will be built around Christmas standards and seasonal music.
If you aren't familiar with Koz, he's a California-born contemporary jazz saxophonist who's been recording for nearly three decades. He's a platinum-selling artist with nine GRAMMY nominations and a string of number-one albums on Billboard's Current Contemporary Jazz Albums chart. He's also got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a duets album with Bob James. Beyond the stage, he's known as a humanitarian, an entrepreneur, and a radio host, and he's performed for several U.S. presidents.
He's also spent a good chunk of his career on the water, headlining thirteen sold-out Dave Koz & Friends At Sea cruises. That Friends part of the title carries over here: the tour is built on bringing in guest musicians to share the stage, and for this stop, that means Reinhart, Butler, and Chambers joining him. His instrumental music has also landed him appearances on Good Morning America, The View, The Tonight Show, and Entertainment Tonight.
