Hip-hop and soul performance by the Dallas collective Cure For Paranoia, part of the Big Bad Wolf Tour and Studio Sessions series.
Cure For Paranoia play Soap Factory on Saturday, October 10, from 4 PM to 10 PM. The Dallas hip-hop and soul collective is touring with the Big Bad Wolf Tour, which pairs live music, DJs, panels, workshops, food, and community activities with the Working Families Party, a multiracial political party that organizes for economic, racial, and climate justice. The day is presented by Future Is Color® as part of the Studio Sessions series.
Cure For Paranoia was founded by Cameron McCloud, who was put on medication for bipolar depression and paranoid schizophrenia a decade ago and found that the music worked better. A preschool teacher by day, McCloud posted a new verse every day of 2025; those dailies became No Brainer, which won NPR's 2026 Tiny Desk Contest. That's the record the group is touring behind, and the show is built around it.
Because it's part of the Big Bad Wolf Tour, the music is only one part of the day. The tour brings together live sets and DJing with panels, workshops, food, and community activities, all tied to the Working Families Party's organizing around economic, racial, and climate justice. The whole thing is presented by Future Is Color® as part of the Studio Sessions series, and entry is restricted to over-21s.
