Market with local food trucks serving lunch on closed B Street in Downtown San Diego.
Curbside Bites are back on B Street this Wednesday, October 14, for another downtown lunch market. They'll be set up on B Street between India Street and Columbia Street, which closes down for the afternoon to make room for the trucks.
If you've been around downtown for a while, you know the drill. Curbside Bites is a collection of local food trucks that takes over a stretch of B Street every Wednesday, turning a normally busy city block into an open-air food court. It's one of the city's most popular local food truck markets, and it's built around the mid-day rush—so it's really a lunch thing, not a dinner or weekend thing.
The trucks are described as some of San Diego's most popular local food trucks, and they're serving lunch right in the heart of downtown. Because the street is closed, you can walk from truck to truck and pick whatever you're in the mood for without having to worry about traffic. It's a good spot to grab a meal with coworkers or just step out of the office for a bit.
