A culinary walking tour featuring bite-sized tastings from over twenty locally owned restaurants along University Avenue in City Heights.
Taste of City Heights returns to University Avenue on Saturday, October 17, from 2 PM to 5 PM. It's a culinary walking tour run by the City Heights Community Development Corporation that stretches across a 1.5-mile section of University Avenue, one of San Diego's most diverse dining destinations. The corridor is home to more than a dozen locally owned restaurants, cafés, and eateries, alongside community favorites and hidden gems.
Ticket holders sample dishes from more than twenty establishments representing the neighborhood's multicultural community. Among them are Ali's Chicken, Red Sea Ethiopian Restaurant, and Cafeina Cafe. Every dollar from every ticket supports the CDC's economic development work for the small businesses that make the corridor what it is.
