Country music night with Ben Chase, the 'Saltwater Cowboy,' blending honky-tonk and Tiki Tonk, with line dancing and a DJ.
Ben Chase plays Moonshine Flats on Saturday, October 17, in East Village. He's a country singer from Prince Edward Island who goes by the nickname 'Saltwater Cowboy,' and he describes his sound as 'Tiki Tonk'βhonky-tonk mixed with breezy, waterfront vibes. He's built a name on high-energy sets and harmonica solos, and he's shared the stage with Dan + Shay, Sam Hunt, Scotty McCreery, and Zac Brown Band.
His most-streamed track to date is 'Somebody's Summer,' and he's got a debut EP coming in summer 2025, which will feature a new summer anthem called 'Best Boat.' If you're coming for the music, keep in mind that the night at Moonshine Flats follows a set schedule rather than a single show. Dive Bar Happy Hour runs from 7 to 9 PM, and line dancing with lessons goes from 8 to 9:30 PM. Ben Chase takes the stage from 9:30 to 11:30 PM, and a DJ keeps the dance floor going after that until close.
