Halloween-themed Yappy Hour with a costume contest, seasonal sips and happy hour specials for pups and guests.
Wild Hare Bar & Garden is hosting Barks & Boos Yappy Hour on Saturday, October 24, from 4 PM to 6 PM. It's a Halloween-themed edition of the bar's Yappy Hour series, presented by the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter and held out on the patio. The whole afternoon is built around bringing your dog along, so you'll want to have their costume ready before you head over.
The main event is a Halloween pup costume contest, with prizes for the standout looks. Beyond that, there are happy hour food and drink specials for the humans, a pup-friendly menu for the dogs, and seasonal treats and giveaways. Costumes are encouraged for everyone, and all well-behaved pups are welcome. If you've been looking for a reason to dress up your dog for October, this is a pretty easy one.
It's a dog-friendly afternoon in the Gaslamp, and since it's on the patio, you'll have plenty of room for the pups to hang out while you grab a drink.
