The largest art glass show in Southern California featuring local San Diego glass artists, with live torch-work demonstrations and a free mosaic make-and-take activity.
The Art Glass Guild is bringing its 2026 Fall Patio Show and Sale to the Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11. It's the largest art glass show in Southern California, and it's all local—the work comes from San Diego glass artists, and the artists themselves will be there to talk through their pieces and show how they're made.
Because it's a juried show, the work is vetted before it's displayed, and the variety covers a lot of ground. You'll see blown, fused, torch, stained, cast, and etched glass, so you can get a sense of the different ways glass is worked. If you've ever wondered what the difference is between a piece that's blown and one that's fused, this is a good place to see them side by side and ask the people who actually made them.
There's more to do than just look, too. You can watch a live torch-work demonstration, and there's a free mosaic make-and-take activity if you want to try your hand at something. The show is pet friendly, so you can bring your dog along for the walk through the village.
