Concert by the experimental metal band Annelida at McGuffie's Live, a 21+ event.
Annelida play McGuffie's Live on Thursday, October 8, with Living Legacy, The High Priestess, and Del Abysmo on the bill. The Las Vegas band first showed up in 2022 with the EP Lord Leech, and they've spent the years since pulling from mathcore, progressive hardcore, and alternative rock.
Their debut full-length, Garage Honey & the Bar Fly Mutiny, came out in 2024 on Manic Kat Records and caught the attention of Decibel Magazine and Kerrang. Since then, the lineup has shifted: the core is now the duo of Kevelida Diamond and Fat Tony Graves, with Jacob Cruz joining in. This year they put out a new EP, The Unencumbered, which brings in experimental electronic drums and keysāa step away from the guitar-heavy sound of the first record.

Between the new material and the older songs, the set should cover a fair bit of ground. With three other bands on the bill, it's a full night of music rather than a single act. The show starts at 8 PM at McGuffie's Live, 8515 Navajo Rd, and it's 21+.
