Upstage Presents: Heavy Hitters of Comedy — As Seen on Kill Tony

Heavy Hitters of Comedy take the stage at Fitzgerald's Bar and Live Music Venue on Thursday, October 15, as part of the Upstage Presents: Laughs at Fitzgerald's series. It's a night of live stand-up with touring headliners, and this particular lineup is billed as As Seen on Kill Tony.

If you're not familiar with the series, Laughs at Fitzgerald's has been a recurring fixture at the venue since July 2026, with a new show every third Thursday of the month. Upstage Presents books touring headliners for the bills, and they describe the night as "Big Laughs, Great Drinks, Pure Comedy." The Kill Tony connection is the main draw here—those are comics who've gone through the gauntlet of Tony H. Gaskins' podcast, where they're ripped apart on stage before getting a chance to perform. If you've followed that show, you know the kind of energy that carries over into their live sets.

Because it's a recurring series, this isn't a one-off. If you miss this one, there's another scheduled for the third Thursday of November. The venue is Fitzgerald's, a bar and live music spot in San Antonio that's been hosting the series since the summer. The show starts at 7:30 PM.
