Community screening of the documentary More Than Blue on maternal mental health, with post-screening discussion and virtual conversation with producers.
The Little Carver Civic Center is hosting a community screening of the documentary More Than Blue on Thursday, October 22, from 6 PM to 8 PM. The film focuses on mood and anxiety disorders, told through the real stories of families who have lived with them, with a particular emphasis on maternal mental health. It's presented with the support of the City of San Antonio Metro Health.
What makes this more than just a screening is what happens after the credits roll. There's a post-screening discussion followed by a virtual conversation with the film's producers, so you'll have a chance to hear from the people behind the project and talk through what you've just watched. If you've ever wanted to get a better handle on how these disorders actually play out in real families, this is a good place to start.
