Mary Poppins

Mary Poppins opens at the Wonder Theatre at Wonderland of the Americas on Friday, November 27, and runs through December 6. It's a musical production of the story, and it's part of the theatre's 2026 Directors Choice season.

Wonder Theatre is a non-profit that describes its work as creating opportunities for the surrounding community by providing quality, entertaining, educational and affordable programming for all ages. They say their mission is to sustain the tradition of theatre, support local artists and encourage young adults to participate in the arts. This production fits that description—it's a family-friendly musical that brings a well-known story to a local stage.

There are plenty of dates to choose from, so you can pick a night that works for you. The show runs Friday, November 27, and Saturday, November 28, both at 7:30 PM, and Sunday, November 29, at 3:00 PM. After that, it returns on Friday, December 4, and Friday, December 11, both at 7:30 PM, and then on Saturday, December 5, and Sunday, December 6, with performances at both 7:30 PM and 3:00 PM on both days. That's a good mix of evening and matinee options if you're bringing kids.

The Wonder Theatre is located at 4522 Fredericksburg Rd, Ste. A-90, in Balcones Heights, in the San Antonio area.
