Annual fundraiser for the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo scholarship fund with gourmet food, auctions, door prizes and live country music by Wade Bowen and Ned LeDoux.
Wade Bowen and Ned LeDoux headline the Go Rodeo Roundup on Saturday, October 17, at the Freeman Expo Hall. It's one of the premier annual fundraisers for the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo scholarship fund, held every fall at the hall. This year's edition runs under the theme 'Under the Texas Sky,' a celebration of Texas heritage and giving.
The evening brings together supporters, community leaders, and rodeo enthusiasts around gourmet food stations, premium beverages, silent and live auctions, and door prizes. The live music comes from nationally recognized country artists, with Bowen and LeDoux taking the stage. All proceeds go toward the organization's mission of developing Texas youth through scholarships, grants, endowments, and educational programs.
Bowen is a Waco native who has released 11 albums, including Solid Ground in 2018. The New York Times described him as "an earnest and direct singer whose songwriting is graceful, with twists like small sighs."
