Professional ice hockey game between the Utah Mammoth and the New York Islanders at the Delta Center.
The Utah Mammoth take on the New York Islanders at the Delta Center on Tuesday, December 15. It's part of the 2026-27 season, the Mammoth's third since they arrived in Salt Lake City, and one of 42 home games they'll play at the arena across an 84-game campaign.
There's a bit of a homecoming angle to this one. New arrivals Anders Lee and Vincent Trocheck are facing their former teams for the first time at the Delta Center, and the Mammoth are welcoming back players from their first two seasons, like defenseman Ian Cole. It's the kind of game that gives you a look at the new faces and the ones who've been here since the start, all on the same ice.
This is one of many dates on a busy stretch for the team. On New Year's Eve, they head outdoors for the Winter Classic at Rice-Eccles Stadium, and on January 29 they host Washington's Alex Ovechkin, who signed a one-year extension for the 2026-27 season. Between the home games at the Delta Center and the outdoor game, the schedule keeps them moving across the city.
