SubconsciouslyShay brings Tarot on Tap to HK Brewing Taproom & Bar on Thursday, November 10, for a night of tarot practice and intuition. It's not a formal class, and you don't need to be a pro to join in. The whole point is to practice, swap readings, and play with your intuition alongside other people who are doing the same thing.

SubconsciouslyShay brings the games and the extra decks, so you don't need to own a deck of your own to take part. If you've never touched a tarot card in your life, this is a low-pressure way to start; if you've been reading for years, it's a chance to trade interpretations and see how someone else handles the same spread. The evening is framed as a witchy game night rather than a lesson, so the focus is more on the social side—meeting new people and chatting over the cards than on getting a lecture.

The setting is HK Brewing Co Taproom & Bar at 370 Aspen Ave, a women-owned bar and Salt Lake City's first kombucha brewery. They make their own kombucha in-house—Han's Kombucha, a handcrafted, small-batch booch that took home Best N/A Cocktails in Utah for 2024-25. You can pair your reading with a craft cocktail, a mocktail, or one of those house-brewed kombuchas, and Adris Cafe will be on-site serving food throughout the night.

One thing to keep in mind: the night is 21+ only. Entry is $5. It all goes down on Thursday, November 10, at HK Brewing.
