Hard rock and southern metal show by Stonebreed, with special guests Sugar Van Beer, Pressure and Krypl3d, at Liquid Joe's.
Stonebreed are playing Liquid Joe's on Friday, October 23, with Sugar Van Beer, Pressure, and Krypl3d opening. The show starts at 7 PM at 1249 E 3300 S in Salt Lake City.
Stonebreed come from Hollywood, California, and they describe themselves as an old-school, hard-rocking, Southern-flavored, arena-style party band. The Southern side of that comes from Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, and Blackfoot, while the hard rock pulls from Aerosmith, AC/DC, Metallica, and Van Halen. It's a high-octane hard rock and southern metal sound, and they've built a reputation as one of the West Coast's hardest-working independent touring acts.
They've opened for a long list of national names: RATT, Molly Hatchet, Cinderella, Michael Schenker Group, Bullet Boys, George Lynch, Adler's Appetite, Steel Panther, The Marshall Tucker Band, Jackyl, Saxon, Uli Jon Roth, and Warrant. Along the way, they've shared the stage with members of Dio, Sabbath, Bonham, Giuffria, and W.A.S.P. The live show is fronted by vocalist Carlos Cruz, backed by two lead guitarists, a dynamic bassist, and a heavy-hitting drummer.
