35th edition of the Downtown Farmers Market, with local produce, meats, dairy, honey and baked goods on Saturdays in Pioneer Park.
The SLC Downtown Farmers Market is back at Pioneer Park on Saturdays from June 6 through October 24, 2026, running 8 AM to 2 PM. It's entering its 35th year, and for anyone who's lived here a while, it's basically the city's summer tradition for residents and visitors alike.
The whole thing started with a simple goal: to support small local farms and businesses by bringing their products directly to the public. That means you get the freshest local fruits and vegetables alongside grass-fed meats, eggs, dairy, honey, and flora. It's not just produce, eitherโyou'll find some of the region's best locally made sauces, spreads, baked goods, and culinary accoutrements. If you're looking to stock up on things that actually come from around here, this is where you do it.
During the summer, the market fills Pioneer Park, and when the weather turns, it moves to a weather-friendlier location for a cold-season edition that keeps the local farm and food shopping going on Saturdays. So, while the summer run is the main event, the tradition doesn't stop when the temperature drops.
