Indie rock band Sammy Rae & The Friends perform their GET DOWN! Tour with special guest Melt at The Depot.
Sammy Rae & The Friends play The Depot on Friday, October 16, as part of their GET DOWN! Tour. They're bringing along Melt as the special guest for the night.
Melt is a Brooklyn-based alternative and indie rock band with a long history. Lee Hamway and Joey Mizrahi started the group in 1993, and Ralph Hanan joined on drums in 1995. They put out two EPs and a full album before going on hiatus in 1999. When the pandemic hit in 2020, they started writing again and released new music in 2021, followed by a reunion show in 2023. This Salt Lake City date is one of their stops on the tour.
