ROFL — short for Rolling On the Floor Laughing — is taking over Quarters on Thursday, October 22. It's billed as Salt Lake City's newest comedy and EDM experience, and the description tells you exactly where it sits: it's a night that puts stand-up comedy and dance music in the same room.
The comedy side is the first half of the equation, with stand-up sets on the bill. The EDM side takes over from there, with DJs keeping the music going. Between the two, there are arcade games to play and a raver dress code encouraged — raver costumes and kandi are part of the whole thing. It's a night that doesn't ask you to choose between a comedy club and a dance floor; it just puts them together.

Because it's a 21-plus event, you'll need your ID to get in. The doors open at 7 PM and the night runs until 1 AM, so there's plenty of room to catch the stand-up and then settle into the DJs. Tickets are $10.
