Live show by rapper Rittz from Atlanta, headlining Liquid Joe's on East 3300 South, as a 21+ event.
Rittz plays Liquid Joe's on Thursday, November 5, as part of his Before The Drop Tour. He's a rapper from Gwinnett County, just outside Atlanta, Georgia, and he grew up in a musical family that had him listening to rock and roll from a young age. He started rapping at 12, and his early work drew from Rap-A-Lot acts like Willie D and the Geto Boys before he moved toward Outkast and Goodie Mob.
From 1995 to 2003, he fronted a group called Ralo and Rittz, which he dubbed "the white Outkast," and they cut tapes in a basement studio in Gwinnett. After a slump around 2003, he was rediscovered in 2009 when Yelawolf featured him on "Box Chevy" from Trunk Muzik, and he later released the mixtape Rittz White Jesus. This stop in Salt Lake City is part of the Before The Drop Tour, so you'll hear him as part of that run.
