FrightCrawl lands in Salt Lake City on Saturday, October 31, with HK Brewing Co Taproom & Bar serving as the home base. It's a Halloween bar crawl that works on a simple premise: you get one wristband that covers four or more of the city's best bars, with drink specials running all night and a live map to guide you from one spot to the next. If you've never done a crawl like this, the map is the real MVP—it keeps you from wandering aimlessly and lets you pick your own path through the night.

One thing that sets this one apart is that you don't have to wait until dark to get started. There are two ways to play it: a Day Party from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and the Saturday Night crawl from 7:30 PM to 2:00 AM. If you're going for the night shift, just keep in mind that wristbands are only handed out until 10:00 PM, so you'll want to get to the home base early enough to secure yours before the window closes.

That home base, HK Brewing Co Taproom & Bar, is a women-owned, cocktail-forward spot at 370 Aspen Ave. They're known for creative serves and a strong non-alcoholic menu—their zero-proof cocktails took home Best Zero-Proof Cocktails from City Weekly in both 2024 and 2025. Han's Kombucha pours on draft alongside a full cocktail and non-alcoholic menu, beer and cider on tap, a rotating selection of local and regional cans, and house wine. If you're not drinking, you've still got plenty of options that aren't just soda and water. The venue also has a large, dedicated on-site parking lot, which is a nice luxury to have when you're coordinating a night out in the city.

Tickets start at $10, and the Day Party runs 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the Saturday Night crawl going from 7:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Just remember that wristbands are only available until 10:00 PM.
